The library of Smt. Velagapudi Durgamba Siddhartha Law College, Vijayawada stands as a vital academic and research hub for students, faculty, and legal scholars. With a rich collection of 14,971 books and 4,078 distinct titles, it offers comprehensive resources across various domains of law and allied disciplines.

The library is well-organized and systematically maintained to cater to the curricular and research needs of law students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It boasts subscriptions to 17 reputed law journals, including All India Reporter, Supreme Court Cases, Criminal Law Journal, Labour Law Journal, Consumer Protection Reporter, and Andhra Law Times, among others. These journals provide access to the latest legal developments, case laws, and academic discussions.

Additionally, the library hosts 7 general magazines such as Outlook, Down to Earth, Frontline, The Week, Herald of Health, etc which support interdisciplinary learning and general awareness.

A distinguishing feature of the library is its integration of important digital and archival legal resources. It offers access to leading online legal databases such as Manupatra and LiveLaw. The library also houses the Encyclopaedia Britannica in 33 volumes, serving as a valuable general reference tool for students seeking knowledge beyond legal subjects.

Further enhancing its archival strength, the library maintains continuous print records of the All India Reporter (from 1950 till date) and Supreme Court Cases (from 1969 till date), providing a historical perspective on landmark judgments and constitutional developments in India.

The library functions from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on working days. On second Saturdays, it operates as a half-day, and it remains closed on public holidays. To support student learning and research activities, the library is also equipped with computer resources, as well as tables and chairs arranged for reading and study. These facilities ensure a comfortable and conducive environment for in-depth study, legal research, and academic engagement.
